Living in the “CE” (Covid Era)

Sitting with my friend David Spergel recently in Manhattan, enjoying glorious outdoor dining on a surprisingly warm fall day, I said how “normal” this moment felt.

“Yes,” he responded, “like life in BC.”

I looked up quizzically.

“You know -” he said, “life before Covid. BC. Before Covid.”
